This standard frame STOWAWAY2 SPORT MODEL is a fixed frame with a 6" rise.
Most suitable for RVs, SUVs, Trucks or Vans that do not have or need access to a rear door.
The contemporary design is Roto-molded from an ultra durable low density UV resistant impact resistant polyethylene.
Durable and sturdy featuring molded handles for easy carrying. It has a sturdy locking latch for security complete with two keys. A weather tight seal keeps your possessions dry. The drain plug allows for easy cleaning. Available in black or white texture. Manufacturer FIVE year warranty.
Choose correct model for your 2" or 1 1/4" receiver.

Optional Locking Hitch Pin adds the security of locking the frame into the hitch of the vehicle. Can be used for other towing needs. Available for 2" or 1 1/4" receiver. No freight charged on locking hitch pin if ordered with Stowaway2 unit. $5.00 freight will be added if ordered separately.

The most affordable Stowaway model. Combine our standard carrier with our rugged no-rise frame.
Some customers just need the basics - a simple box on a simple frame. And yet they aren't quite comfortable with a tote-box on a flimsy $79 frame.
Our Basic model is designed to meet this need. Our durable locking box on our rugged no-rise frame.
In terms of exhaust from your tailpipe,
as is the case with most plastics, extreme heat can cause deformation of the material. Most vehicles feature an exhaust system that directs the exhaust down and away from the vehicle. If your vehicle’s exhaust system points the exhaust direct into the cargo box, you should purchase an exhaust tip that direct the exhaust down and away from the Cargo Box. Under all conditions, the distance from the tip of the tailpipe to the Cargo Box should be a minimum of 14”.

Mounts your license plate directly to the StowAway2 Cargo Carrier
Mounts directly to the rear of your StowAway2 Cargo Carrier to display your license plate. Plugs directly into the pre-installed wire harness inside the StowAway2 Cargo Box and includes light, bracket and hardware. Not for units with reflectors only.
Inside Light for Stowaway2
Attaches to the inside of your StowAway2 lid to illuminate your gear and cargo area. Requires two "C" cell batteries (not included). Includes mounting hardware. Designed for all models except the Max.
Hitch Coupling TightnerTightens junction between StowAway2 frame and hitch receiver
Eliminates "play" at the hitch junction so that any vibration is greatly reduced. The vibration does not affect the performance or safety of the Stowaway2 but can be a nuisance on uneven road surfaces. Can be used with other hitch-mounted accessories. Only for use with standard Class III (2") receiver hitches. Comes free with Stowaway2 Swingaway unit.
Tie Downs
Provides inside attach points for tying down your cargo gear. Utilizes your existing hardware and includes 4 tie down rings.

Stowaway2 Cover
Protects your StowAway from UV rays when the unit is stored outside. This heavy duty nylon cover will help to prolong the life of your StowAway unit by protecting it from all kinds of weather.
Wheel Accessory:
Three wheels mount directly to the StowAway carrier frame to enable it to be rolled easily around the garage or storage area. The three points of contact provide for easy maneuvering with minimal effort. Wheels and mounting hardware are included. No drilling is required. NOTE: Wheels do not fit LT or Towing models.

Stowaway 2 carriers with the taillight feature comes with 4 flat wiring to attach to your wiring harness. Most vehicles accept this method. However, if you have a 4 round, 6 round, or 7 round harness, you will need the appropriate adapter.
